That's a cute view of Ghost's chin. Thank god he doesn't drool.
I was trying to find the link to The Secret Lives of Heroes and can't. I'm probably not looking in the right place. I'd like to read that so if you can give us a way to get to it that I can figure out I'll check it out.
Also, last but definitely not least. A few days ago I saw on the news that the Humane society of Tacoma was so over-crowded that they were going to have to start putting to sleep healthy dogs. I didn't like hearing that at all. I talked with my wife and we decided that our period of mourning for Patty was going to have to come to an end. We went over there and after looking around for a long while found a black, with white markings Labrador retriever that was very shy. They said he was abandoned and didn't know why he was so scared of all the other dogs and people.
We visited with him and he warmed up to us immediately. I don't know what he's been through but it hasn't been good. All he wants is to be loved and reassured that he has a good home and people who will care for him. He's going to get a lot of that. We are grateful for the years that we had Patty. She was a wonderful cat and a cherished friend. Now, we are grateful to have Willy-boy with us. He's in there snoring beside my wife right now. It's like rough soothing music.
He's named after Will Patton because I love the way he reads books on tape. If you've never listened to an audio-book read by Will Patton check out Pop 1280 by Jim Thompson. It's hilarious.
Life is getting much better.

The link for Secret Lives of Heroes is on the HWA Members' Stoker Recommendations page.
Congrats on getting Willy-boy! That's wonderful-- you've saved a life and your return will be years of love and snoring and devoted kisses!
Tell the Ghostly girl that I apologize. Yes she is a dainty feminine flower. Of course she doesn't drool. No lady does. At least not when anybodies looking.
I just passed a message with Chris Fulbright. I think I'll have to become a member to get to The Secret Lives Of Heroes. It's probably the right time to do that.
I've been wrestling with Willy-boy most of the day. I tell you it's a different experience than wrestling with a cat. I'm glad Willy let's me win. This guy is STRONG!
